For the past two years, you have focused your leadership journey on gaining greater clarity and skills to lead your own life, work with others, and make a positive impact in rural North Carolina. You now know the importance of being a Golden LEAF Scholar and we invite you to continue this journey throughout your junior year. We encourage you to “step it up” this year by securing a summer internship in rural North Carolina that helps you build networks and advances you in your career goals. You must reapply for this program and demonstrate your commitment to developing your leadership potential.
As juniors, who have successfully completed your freshmen and sophomore year of the Golden LEAF Scholars Leadership Program the Golden LEAF Foundation is offering you another opportunity to make a serious impact to improve rural NC. This program will help you prepare for the professional world, and develop effective leadership skills and learn valuable job seeking skills.
